First Annual Boucher
Forest Festival

Come and discover the biodiversity of the Boucher Forest and have fun in a festival for the whole family!
There will be nature walks, information booths, face painting for kids and an outdoor lunch. You can even take part in building a light trap to catch insects and watch on our giant screen as species are identified. All the activities are free!
This is an event you won’t want to miss!

4:00 p.m. Official start of Bioblitz in the Boucher Forest
(identification of wildlife)
7:00 p.m. Nature walk
8:30 p.m. Set-up of a light trap to catch insects
9:00 p.m. Night walk
May 28, 2011 (Day 2)
10:00 a.m. The festival continues. Time still to register for walks.
10:30 a.m. Start of a nature walk.
12 noon BBQ outside
1:00 p.m. nature walk
4:00 p.m. Closing of festival and the bioblitz.
