Become a Member
Membership in a non-profit organization such as the Boucher Forest Foundation is essential, as it reflects the support and commitment of community members toward the actions we undertake.
Our members believe in our mission and vision and help strengthen them through their involvement. They receive information before the general public, are consulted to help refine our projects, and elect members of the Board of Directors at the Annual General Meeting. Their passion is shared by the entire Foundation family. They have a voice and make it heard so that the spirit of solidarity that drives us continues to grow.
If you care about the environment, future generations, sustainable development, and the conservation of urban forests, now is the time to take action. Join other citizens, visitors, and volunteers who are all working toward the same goal: preserving the ecological value and many benefits of Boucher Forest.
It costs only $25 per year to contribute to the growth and future of Gatineau’s left lung.
Rewarding Volunteer Opportunities!
The Foundation runs entirely on volunteer involvement! Since its creation in 2007, the non-profit organization has successfully organized numerous activities thanks to its dedicated volunteers, including:
- The Annual Boucher Forest Celebration and Boucher Forest Month;
- Forest clean-up events and tree planting activities;
- Numerous wildlife and plant species inventories throughout the forest;
- The Members’ Cocktail Reception;
- The 2022 Grand Fundraising Walk and other activities held during the first fundraising campaign.

There are several ways to support us financially:
- Corporate donations (one-time or spread over several years). We offer a corporate giving program with an extensive recognition plan.
- Personal donations from individuals, either unrestricted or directed toward a specific mission or project.
- Payroll giving.
- Planned giving with an enhanced donor recognition program.
A tax receipt will be issued for all donations of $25 or more.
